I am a first-generation Canadian born in Toronto and when I was growing up, I always knew that I would be a teacher of some sort. When I was a kid, I used to put all my teddy bears and Cabbage Patch dolls together and teach them something lol. As I grew older, I realized that I really enjoyed setting people up for success through training. I think having a good foundation before starting your new job (or even career) is one of the keys to you reaching your full potential.

What are your daily roles and responsibilities?
My week starts on Monday. I check my emails, plan out my content and follow up with any leads. I do some research on the workshop topics that I am custom designing for a client and/or do dry runs (practice runs) of upcoming workshops or training programs to make sure everything flows properly and there are no mistakes. I always take the time to review my finances, make sure I have received any outstanding payments, and all bills are paid. I also look at what courses I can take to keep my skills sharp. But a lot of my time is engaging and following up with leads and securing clients.
What advice would you give the 15-18 year old version of yourself?You are so much smarter than you know and deserving of all the good things that come to you. Continue to be the kind-hearted person that you are and use your voice to help uplift others.
