I was born in Brampton. I was raised in the GTA and New Jersey.
I started my business because I noticed a significant under representation in my community when it came to having people that look like me producing events. I wanted to fill that void. I felt as if there was a disconnect in the community and I had the potential to repair it by offering a caliber of events the community had yet to experience.

What hurdles did you face? Did you ever think about quitting?
I feel like everyone has definitely thought about it but personally I’ve never thought about it long enough to where I would ever do it. One of the challenges I faced was establishing a name in an industry where most businesses weren’t open to collaborations or conversations with start up businesses. Experiencing the disregard from others motivated me to work harder and to really get creative when it came to building my brand.
What advice would you give to the 15 – 18 year old version of yourself?
There is honestly so many things I would tell the younger version of myself, but if I had to choose one thing, I would say the world is much bigger than you think it is, your worries aren’t important as you think they are. Don’t waste time getting caught up in the difficulties of the moment, they are only temporary.
It’s okay to not have it all figured out. What matters is the steps you will take towards your goals. Don’t’ follow the masses, trust your gut and do what’s RIGHT. Everything will fall into place as you venture on.
