After the death of my grandmother, lived with an aunt in whose home I underwent the most horrific abuse and neglect. Ran away (homeless).
Found my father, won a scholarship to attend high school..graduated with honours. Came to Canada as a domestic worker, focused on volunteering in a hospital setting where I found my passion for nursing. I saw the positive impact nurses make daily in the lives of others. Hope and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time, so spend time focusing on what you would like to achieve.
I see changes happening, when each of us act so I let the change begin with me,.
Nothing can stop the man/woman with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal especially where he has another human being’s support. Effective leaders must be lifelong learners, plants learn something new everyday. Service to others is the rent you pay here on earth, so give back, pay forward where you can.
