Founder & CEO, Enterprise Software Company

I was born in the UK, of Nigerian parents. I was raised in the UK & in Nigeria. I have always had an interest in reading & the acquisition of knowledge, from an early age, driven in part by the values instilled in me by my late father (https://ekhaguosaaisien.com). My parents fostered an expectation of academic excellence in their kids, which drove me to do well in school, from primary all the way to University. I selected a career in Engineering, initially because I was inspired to use my talents to develop my country (Nigeria).

While working as a young Graduate Trainee in the UK, I met & fell in love with my wife, a New Yorker. I emigrated with her to the US in 1997, and the prevalent economic context at the time (the emergence of the Internet as a transformational technology) triggered my interest in tech entrepreneurship. I have worked in fledgling & large enterprise software firms since Business School, and I started Blue Cedar in 2016. My aspiration is to use what I hope would remain a successful career in Technology Entrepreneurship to inspire the next cadre of tech leaders with African ancestry globally, and to use my experience & access to capital to transform young African lives, via osmosis & instruction, rather than charity.
