Kern was born and raised in Toronto, On where he was initially known for his incredible talent on the basketball court. His talent on the basketball court led to a full athletic scholarship to St. Boneventure University, where Kern really found his true passion and love for writing. He has written for numerous publications and has published two novels of his own. He lives by the motto “history or nothing” meaning he will settle for nothing less than leaving his mark on literature’s  history. He is a great example of an athlete with a plan after basketball and using sports as a tool to get further in life!

What is your educational background?
I am a graduate from St. Bonaventure University. 

What are your daily responsibilities?
I am currently occupied with writing content for different clients, ghost writing novels and articles, and writing for my own blog called CRY.

What hurdles did you face?
There are always hurdles but I never thought about quitting. Writing is my passion and I will continue to do it until I physically can’t.

What advice would you give to the 15 – 18 year old version of yourself?
